About Us
Tisa at Pisara was founded on June 1, 2020, by Marjorie Lahorra—a licensed teacher, financial advisor, and entrepreneur. She is joined by her husband and co-founder, Alvin Lahorra, who brings nine years of experience from serving in the public school system.Initially established as an online tutorial service at the height of the pandemic, Tisa at Pisara has since grown and adapted. With the lifting of quarantine restrictions, the founders opened a physical learning center—Tisa at Pisara Tutorial and Playschool, now officially registered as Tisa at Pisara's Academic Tutorial Services. The main branch is located at #4 Saging Street, Area B, Talanay, Batasan Hills, Quezon City.Two years later, to accommodate more learners, a second branch was opened in Blk 2 Lot 47 Carissa 4A, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, marking another milestone in the center’s continued expansion.Tisa at Pisara remains dedicated to helping children and students excel academically. It also provides a nurturing space for young learners to readjust to face-to-face interactions and develop social confidence after extended time at home.

 Learning is fun at "Tisa at Pisara". My kids are always excited to attend their Filipino tutorial class. Why? It's because... 1. Teachers are great and friendly. 2.
